Birthday Deadline Guide

To apply for K3, your child must be able to use the bathroom independently, and be 3 by September 1.

To apply for K4, your child must be 4 by September 1.

We want the very best for our Heritage scholars – and we know you do, too!

That is why we have FIRM age deadlines for our preschool. Children should have growing confidence in their ability to respond to age appropriate challenges, classroom situations, and a desire to learn. We have seen it over and over at Heritage Academy – successful kindergarteners are the ones who are developmentally 5. And successful preschoolers are the ones who are developmentally 3 or 4.

Does this really matter? Yes! We will approach learning developmentally and nurture the whole child: spiritually, intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally. Our expectations and our curriculum are linked to specific developmental stages.

Older children will not be bored, and all children will be challenged to become creative thinkers and problem solvers!

Because we care about the whole child, and want all children to succeed, we hold firm to our birthday deadline dates.
